Painting the modern garden: From Monet to Matisse, at the Royal Academy

Exploring the role of the gardens from the early 1860s to the 1920s through masterpieces by the most important painter of gardens Monet and others - Renour, Cezanna, Pissarro, Manet, Sargent, Kandinsky, Van Gogh, Matisse, Klimt and Klee. Highlights are the Agapanthus Triptych by Monet, Monet Painting in his Garden at Argenteuil by Renoir and Murnau The Garden II by Kandinsky.
