Unread Messages at the Aram Gallery


Until 9 April

Unread messages at the Aram Gallery explores and questions our digital addictions through conceptual products. They explore the visitors dependance on digital communication in three themes; Empowered but Dependent, The Curated Self and Compulsive Behaviours. The exhibition features objects created by designers from around the world, which are intended to help users develop a healthier relationship with technology, including a selfie-taking robot and a plugin that reports on internet usage patterns.

Strange and Familiar at the Barbican



Until 19 June

Curated by iconic British photographer Marin Parr, Strange and Familiar considers how international photographers from the 1930s onwards have captured the social, cultural and political identity of the UK. The exhibition will include works from Henri Cartier-Bresson, Rineke Dijkstra, Robert Frank and Garry Winogrand.
