An immersive installation that represent an artificially accelerated loop of a standard working day. Pattison imagines a speculative live/work environment drawing influence from Modernist architecture and science fiction. The installation will show contrasting views of contemporary workspaces, with the interiors of experimental living spaces. A series of new sculptures are installation at sites across east London, including, Second Home, Campus London and London Hackspace.

David Hockney at the RA


2 July - 2 October

An exhibition of portraits of the past two years give a snapshot of the LA art world. David Hockney invited sitters from all areas of his life into his studio. Each painting shows their  differing personalities to leap off the canvas with warmth and immediacy.

Some brands are about more than delivering just products, instead they create an entire lifestyles. This talk highlights cult brands and look at what created such a dedicated followers. Speakers include Emma Allwood from Dazed and Alastair Raw from Albam.

Ove Arup at V&A


Until 6 November

The first major retrospective of Ove Arup, the most influential engineer of the 20th century. The exhibition will focus on Arup's philosophy of total design and feature unseen archival material for projects such as the Sydney Opera House.
