To launch Topshop's swimwear collection at their flagship store in London's Oxford Circus, we created an energising installation, 'Splash!', a full-scale waterslide that takes customers on a real and fantasy water-slide around the store. The slide snakes along the ceiling from the entrance of the store, down escalators and right the way through to the basement floor. With rippling lighting, the effect of streaming water and an occasional 'swimmer' fly down the chute. In the front windows, reflecting water and on the platform above, visitors are treated to a VR water ride which takes them through the iconic store then out onto Regent St and beyond.
This installation achieved record media footprints (over 6.9 million to date) whilst driving footfall in store and increasing sales. It was also featured in over 30 publications from Teen Vogue to the Evening Standard. It was featured on Channel 4's documentary, Supershoppers which looked at the most successful new retail experiences on the high street.
