Stā Studios

A Brand Neutral Experience Enabling the Creative Hair Freelancer

We loved partnering with Samantha Cusick London to create Stā Studios, a brand-neutral space designed with the creative hair freelancer in mind. Stā Studios is a custom-built, co-working and multidimensional event space showcasing everything the modern independent creative hair stylist needs to elevate their career and personal brand.

Stā Studios is designed to recognise and support individual creative paths. The 3500 sq ft space, located close to London’s Liverpool Street station, is a modular and adaptable space designed to flex, evolve and inspire, switching between a full salon of 18 workstations to a live, tech-enabled multi-events space with a large-scale portfolio beacon taking central stage, allowing creatives to showcase their latest work, brand identity and live content and feel part of the Sam Cusick London Community.

The space also includes two private studios, a coffee shop, a colour bar, a meeting room and areas dedicated to the creation of digital content, e.g. a podcast studio and 360 photography space, as well as an open community lounge designed to encourage social interactions between creatives to nurture a sense of belonging & community.

Founder Samantha Cusick of Samantha Cusick London comments, “I opened my first salon in 2016 with a business model that put the team at the heart of the salon. I have been increasingly aware that the needs of stylists have changed again, and I believe it is essential for the industry that we, as creatives and business owners, evolve to fulfil those needs. Today, hairdressers have to be so much more: entrepreneurs, marketing directors, content creators, accountants, etc. We’ve created the first kind of space that caters to what the industry needs now and what the twenty-first-century professional needs to run and grow their business.”
